MADURO OUT!

The dictator Maduro has been put on notice. The USA just shut off their money supply, and also effectively shut down their oil industry, their only real source of capital. Canada, USA, Central American countries, All countries in South America except Uruguay and Bolivia, The EU, Australia, and others are backing the head of the Venezuelan Legislature, Juan Guaido as the rightful President of Venezuela.

The people of Venezuela are starving, and the inflation rate is now over 8000% and rising. The promise of Socialism turned one of the richest countries in the world into a living nightmare, incapable of even feeding its people. The corruption is rampant, and those that actively support Maduro are the only ones enjoying the largess of their once great oil industry. This jewel of South America is now just a shell of what it once was, and the people are in the streets screaming for change.

Maduro refuses to step down or hold new elections to certify his standing as President. He has the military at his side, along with 25,000 Cuban military and Russian mercenaries to ensure that he is not deposed. He also has the blessings of Turkey, China, Russia, Syria and Iran, who in lockstep promote him as the legitimate leader of his country, and at the same time Russia threatens the USA about the use of military force in what they call an illegal and immoral coup. Uruguay, Bolivia and Mexico pay lip service to the legitimacy of the Maduro regime.

Russia and China have a lot to lose if Maduro is ousted. Both countries have lent the regime billions of dollars, money that likely will not be paid back by a democratically elected government. Both countries also have a strategic investment in the regime. China is looking at Venezuela as a prime supplier of oil to power its economy, and both Russia and China are moving towards using Venezuela as a prime source for instability in the region. They want to minimize our sway over the Western Hemisphere, and keeping Maduro in power is a big part of that plan. Russia also needs their own oil revenue to fund their government, and a free Venezuela with foreign investment in their oil fields, which have the largest amount of proven oil reserves in the world, would decimate the Russian economy with lower oil prices.

Our President is supporting regime change. He has stated that all possible actions are on the table, including the military option. The new Cold War between Western Democracies and the China/Russia alliance just got warmer!

MEDICARE FOR ALL, A SOLUTION OR A SOCIALIST FANTASY?

There has been a lot of talk about “Medicare for all”. The Democrats have pitched the idea that healthcare is a right, that everyone should be given the same medical treatment, and that “right” should be supplied by the government. Politicians in deep blue districts and states used this mantra with some success in the 2018 elections. Democrat Presidential hopefuls are now using the same message in their fledgling campaigns, and the concept is gaining traction. The promise of “free healthcare” is very alluring, and leftist politicians are counting on this message in part to lead them to victory in 2020.

These politicians are looking at polls, and the numbers are very positive. The Kaiser Foundation poll on this issue rates the issue at 59% positive. Other polls have shown positive ratings as high as 75%. This issue being rated this high is a trigger for politicians to hit hard at this possibility, and on first glance, it is hard to find an argument against this possibility. In fact, it looks like a clear winner for politicians that support a single payer health plan. What possibly could be the downside to something this popular?

These same politicians site the UK, Canada and many countries in Europe and elsewhere as examples of successful single-payer systems. The argument is that if it works in these places, why then would it not work here in the USA? That argument is very compelling, especially since Obama Care is on its deathbed, and people want something that works to replace it!

Once one scratches the surface of what a single payer system would entail, peoples perceptions changes, and not to the positive. When people are told of the costs of such a program, which would be a minimum of 33 trillion dollars over the next decade, resulting in much higher income taxes, their favor-ability begins to fade rapidly. When confronted with longer wait times for service, burgeoning bureaucracy, and care rationing, the numbers go down further. Understanding that over 155 million people will lose their employer based system and their doctors, reality starts to set in. When shown the ongoing failures in countries that currently have this system, the numbers do not improve. Noting that every single payer system has a algorithm to determine who gets real medical care, and who just gets palliative care the numbers drop to as low as 26% supporting this effort.

Something that looked like a clear Progressive winner, now looks like a winning argument for Conservatives in 2020. To leverage this to votes at the polls, Conservatives also need to come up with a definitive plan to fix the mess that was Obama Care, and use a viable plan to get the message out that “single payer” is a clear loser. If this does not happen, then the Democrats still have the ability to take this false promise to the polls and win!

PROPAGANDISTS IN POST-CONSTITUTIONAL AMERICA

This guy, Nathan Phillips, got in the face of this boy and banged his hand drum within inches of his nose. The boy did nothing, but that did not deter Nathan Phillips from giving an interview with the Washington Post with a totally false story about how these Catholic boys were disrespecting himself and his movement with their chants. The MSM’s followed suit, and the boy in the picture along with his family are getting death threats and threats of violence by leftists that believe and embrace the false narrative. This is only the latest bit piece of propaganda that the media and their sycophants have put up for our consumption.

Nancy Pelosi recently had 7 other Democrat Congressmen, including Adam Schiff, whose sister is married to George Soros’s son, booked on a trip with 85 of their relatives to go to Brussels, Egypt, and a short stop in Afghanistan. This trip was purportedly for congressional business, and it was to commence right after Nancy dis-invited the President from giving his State of the Union address in the halls of Congress. The only real business was vacation and getting out of the country in order to eliminate any possible negotiation with the President on the government shutdown and the border crisis. The President promptly cancelled their trip, citing the government shutdown. Nancy Pelosi then accused the President of endangering their lives, eliminating the possibility of using commercial flights due to their itinerary having been exposed. The MSM’s ran with Nancy’s story, and made fun of the Presidents position, calling him a security risk and stating that he is unable to fulfill his function as President.

The President has offered compromise on the government shutdown and the border crisis, but Nancy nixed it even before it was announced. The President wisely delayed his speech to the American people and Congress on these issues for 1 hour, and Nancy’s response then was actually prepared and set to air before the announcements were made. Little was made about the Presidents reasonable approach, but her prepared statement on why it was not acceptable, made even before the speech was made was widely aired and written about by the MSM’s.

Mainstream Media, our educational system and the Democrat Party have been effectually taken over by Liberal Progressive Socialists. They are using every tool that they have available to them in order to change our society. They believe that they have the answer to all problems, and that our Constitution and our other systems have to go in order for their new order to take over and find real social justice. They will do anything to further their goals, and Propaganda is their leading tool.

I could go on forever about the propaganda that we are assaulted with every day. It would be a list of infamy that would compile a whole volume of books, and this is what the American people are given to form opinions on how and why our government needs change. This information is patently false, but promoted in great length by both left wing politicians and their MSM lackeys.

This is a very dangerous time for our country. We are inundated with outright falsehoods and lies. Many people are believing these lies and demand change, change that could eventually bring down our country.

Granted, that may be true in many cases. But do you also know about the conditions under which workers were living during the period when capitalism “earned” its fortune?” Sound like our leftists today? This is a direct quote from Joseph Goebbels, Hitlers Chief of Propaganda. This is what the left wants. They want to tear down our country piece by piece and prostrate us on the altar of Socialism, just like Hitler did to the Germans.

NEW YEAR, SOME POSITIVE MOVEMENT, AND SOME THINGS JUST SEEM NEVER TO CHANGE….

Yes, it is a “New Year”. Time marches on, and so does progress. The stock market has rebounded, and just today the DJI is up 330 points! The President is finally getting positive trade movement from China! We have more jobs now than job seekers, and the economy is still on fire. By many measurements we are doing great!

In spite of that we have dark clouds hovering over all of this positive news. A new caravan of economic migrants just passed unmolested into Mexico, heading for our border. The Democrats are not interested in border security, and the Speaker of the House even tried to escape out of country to insure that negotiations would not go forward. The President stopped her and a busload of other Democrat congressmen from flying away on an Air Force jet, but that just seems to make them more interested in payback than in making a deal on the border.

The government is still partially “shutdown”. 800,000 federal workers are without pay, and the President will not reopen unless the Democrats negotiate with him to end the border crisis. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer will not give an inch, and instead spend their time attempting to place all the blame for the shutdown on the shoulders of our President. The President meanwhile is doing his best to allay their efforts by making a compelling case that it is the Democrats keeping these workers from their pay, not his Administration. It is a mess, and there is no solution in sight!

Democrats are rejoicing in an unverified report from Buzzfeed News (A far left news-feed with little credibility) that Michael Cohen will testify to congress that the President ordered him to lie to them about Trump’s interest in building a tower in Moscow. They believe that this is all they need to impeach him, and it is most probable that they will start that process forthwith. Being that there is no illegality for a private citizen to engage potential partners in Russia for a real estate venture in Moscow and Trump was a private citizen at the time, asking his attorney to lie about something that was not in any way illegal makes no sense. That will not hold them back. They will impeach him, take their time doing it and effectively kill anything positive to happen for the next 2 years.

Democratic Socialism is taking hold of the Democrat Party. There are now a myriad of contestants from that party for the 2020 Presidential race, and they are all embracing elements of this socialist movement. Freshman congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is in the forefront of this phenomena, pushing hard for her “Green Agenda” and “Medicare for all”. She cannot run for President because she is too young, but she is making a difference in the Democratic narrative. Its as though the 20th Century never happened, and 100 million souls were never sacrificed at the alter of Socialism.

A New Year usually means a new start. This New Year instead promises a toxic mix of political insanity. Gridlock in Washington, the left doubling down on Socialism, an Impeached President and open borders. All of this has the potential to take away the gains in the economy and quality of life that we currently enjoy. In a sane New Year we would be instead simply be celebrating a successful economy, more money in our pockets and a brighter future for ourselves and our families. It is truly a shame that our government is the Grinch that stole the fruitful promise of the New Year!

BORDER SECURITY VERSUS DEMOCRAT HYPROCRACY

Gallup release a poll last month that indicated Americans believe that illegal immigration is one of the top two problems facing our country. The biggest problem is the idea that our government does not work for the people. Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer are primary reasons why people have little faith in our government. They prefer to play politics rather than execute the most important duty of their office, to protect the security of the citizens of the United States.

These two say that there is no border problem, that it is a fiction of the President, who is simply trying to placate his voting base prior to the 2020 election. They say it is a fabrication that has no real meaning, that a “border wall” is unneeded and a waste of money.

Right now we have 60,000+ crossing the border monthly, most of which are minors both accompanied by parents and unaccompanied. These people are coming over as economic migrants, most of them will not pass muster as asylum seekers. They will, however be released into our country until their court date comes up, and most will never show up for that. With them come many diseases that will spread throughout our citizenry. Criminals also come in with the flow of illegals, creating more crime on our side of the border. People will also die attempting to come here, and Nancy and Chuck say this is not a crisis. They are right, it is not a crisis, it is an invasion!

The President is asking for 5 billion dollars for additional border security. It is estimated that we spend 159 billion dollars annually to maintain these illegal aliens in our country. It is insanity to do nothing, and nothing is exactly what Nancy and Chuck are planning. They don’t care about Americans, they care about their own power, and their hate for Donald Trump. Nothing else seems to matter to them, not even the 800,000 federal workers without paychecks, most of whom vote Democrat.

SOCIALISM RISING

Nikita Khrushchev once said “You Americans are so gullible. No, you won’t accept communism outright, but we’ll keep feeding you small doses of socialism until you’ll finally wake up and find you already have communism. We won’t have to fight you. We’ll so weaken your economy until you’ll fall like overripe fruit into our hands.” His Soviet Union did not survive long enough to see this come true, but it is in the realm of possibilities today.

We now have a Democrat Party that by all rights should change its name to the “Socialist Party”. Bernie Sanders is in the forefront of this movement, followed by Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Rashida Tlaib, Raul Grijalva, Keith Ellison, Maxine Waters, Nancy Pelosi and many others. In fact, there are currently 69 members in congress that can be identified as “Socialists”, and many more that espouse those views but will not wear the label. This is a disturbing trend.

What part of our population looks upon Socialism as a solution to Capitalism’s perceived ills? Fully 51% of 18-29 year old people in the USA have a favorable view of Socialism. This is the largest group of supporters, with declining support when viewing other older age groups. It indicates that maturity lends itself to an understanding that Socialism does not deliver. It is also an indictment of our educational system, one that has drifted to the far left over the last few decades, promoting Socialism as the preferred economic system.

Globalists are also promoting Socialism, with their vision of “ONE WORLD GOVERNANCE” and the push for economic redistribution in the form of fighting their latest boogeyman, “CLIMATE CHANGE”. It is their idea that Socialism is the only way that their plan can work, and the push for Socialism is relentless. The UN, EU, and other international organizations are involved with this movement.

There are many reasons for this resurgence of popularity for this failed economic system. For the young, the prospect of “Free stuff” is very alluring. Free College, Student loan forgiveness, free medical care, guaranteed minimum income, jobs for everyone, and a host of other promised giveaways make Socialism look like Christmas every day to them. For politicians, it is a system that has the intoxicating allure of power. The knowledge that once the populace is fully engaged in this system, their power over them would then be limitless. For Globalists, their need for absolute power would then be assured as the whole world would be suckling off the tit of Socialism, a system that they ultimately would control.

It would be a very dark future indeed, if Socialism would take hold. We need to fight to insure that its dark side is unmasked. We need to take back our educational system, and insure that it will once and for all be teaching real history, real civics, real economics. We also need to vote politicians out of office that aspire to control us, rather than to work for us. We also need to “walk away” from the Globalists that would take our freedom away, allegedly for the greater common good for mankind.

Capitalism is the only economic system that has pushed much of the world into prosperity that could not even be dreamed of until the last century. More people are out of poverty because of Capitalism than at any other time in world history. The food lines in Socialist countries in the last century, coupled with over 100 million people murdered at the altar of Socialism must be taught for all its worth. There is no greater threat to our freedom and our prosperity than Socialism.
