CRITICAL RACE THEORY AND OUR EDUCATION SYSTEM

In McKinney, Texas last night there was a talk about “How to fight against CRT”.  The speaker was Cody Weaver, a sitting board member of Plano ISD.  He is definitely against any of this ideology being taught in Texas Schools, and is educating people all over North Texas to its evils, and most importantly, how to fight back.  He did do a great job indicating that he was not representing his ISD, but was acting as an individual.

Cody spent some time letting us know what he is not saying, and letting us know this could be part of our own future argument:

  1.  Not saying that racism does not exist in America today.
  2. Not saying that systemic and institutional racism did not exist in the past.
  3. Not saying that disparities do not exist.
  4. Not saying that slavery, Jim Crow, segregation, and redlining had no effect on black communities.
  5. Not saying that SEL programs that CRT is attached to need to be ended.

We were told about Richard Delgado J.D., the law professor that was the creator of this ideology, CRT.  He currently teaches at the University of Alabama school of Law.  He founded CRT, combining Radical Feminism tenets (destroy current system rather than work within it for change) to critical legal studies, making a mix of white hatred combined with showing white people, especially white males as oppressors, and the rest of the races, especially blacks as the oppressed.  In a nutshell, the only way he sees that we can achieve equity (equal outcomes for all races), is to eliminate white supremacy, a scourge that all white people are guilty of, and have white people understand their new place in the world.  That is purported to be the only way to bring the white people down off their unearned perch and give all other races the opportunity to achieve equity in society.  Richard Delgado believed that changes have to be done immediately, otherwise, white racists would quelch it!  His book on this subject is “Faces at the bottom of the well”.

Cody hit on SEL (social and emotional learning), pointing out that it has been around for decades, and is not all bad.  It addresses students that are most in need of educational assistance due to infirmity, or due to poor family situations.  It can be effective in giving these individuals a “leg up” that they would not otherwise have, as opposed to them falling through the cracks and not participating in the learning environment.  He clearly stated that when SEL is used in this sparing fashion, it is a positive source of good.  However, CRT needs to be taken out of the SEL curriculum, as it is nothing more than a dark ideology that separates, rather than unites students of every stripe.

Cody spent time discussing Derrick Bell, a Harvard Law Professor and author.  He wrote a book called “Faces at the bottom of the well”.  His thrust with this book is that CRT must be implemented in schools and throughout society immediately, and cannot be implemented piece meal like other initiatives.  Incrementalism cannot be practiced with this ideology, and if it is tried that way, it would never happen.  White people would kill the movement in its tracks.  CRT goes against everything that was accomplished in the 60’s, 70’s, and 80’s, and those accomplishments were in fact failures because those social changes never addressed the root problem, and that is identified as “White Supremacist’s”.

Now he discusses the backbone of CRT:

  1.  The predicament of social reforms, is that “everything must change at once”.  “Otherwise, change will be swallowed up by the remaining elements, so that we remain roughly as we were before.”  Pg.91 Derrick Bell’s book “Faces at the bottom of the well”.
  2. Racism is ordinary, not aberrational.
  3. System of white over color ascendancy.
  4. Social construction thesis.
  5. Interest convergence – The notion that white people will only go along with “racial justice” if there is something in it for them, and this only happened for a short period of time when white elitists saw that they would in some way politically profit from it.

Key themes of CRT:

  1. Interest convergence.
  2. Revisionist history(1619 Project)
  3. Storytelling and counter-story telling (false narratives)
  4. Critique of present Liberalism

Whiteness:

  1.  Whiteness-Quality pertaining to Euro-American or Caucasian people or traditions.
  2. Whiteness as a property-the notion that whiteness in itself has great value for its possessor and conveys a host of unearned privileges and benefits.
  3. Property interest in whiteness-idea that white skin and identity are economically viable.

HOW TO BE AN ANTIRACIST?

The NEA, the largest teacher’s union in the country with over 14000 members, voted last week to support CRT nationwide in all schools, colleges and universities in the USA, and will be sending learning materials and staffers to teachers and districts that need help in implementation.  They will also be teaching ISD’s how to fight back from parental intrusion, and assist with word craft to assist in the masking of CRT’s true identity. 

What can parents do?  First, take an active interest in your child’s education.  Examine take home assignments, and if you see CRT rearing its ugly head, complain to the teacher and principal.  If that does not work, go to the ISD, and then to the board.  Let them know what you want from them in the way of education.  Write letters to your state representatives and your governor.  Push hard, and organize with other parents to push back from this toxic ideology.  Remember, this is not a partisan issue, people from both sides of the fence will see this for what it is, and will not want their children indoctrinated!  The only way to end this is to show courage and fight, and to be effective, you have to know what your fighting against, and this presentation has done a very good job of exposing the enemy for us. 

AS TEXAS GOES, SO DOES OUR COUNTRY!

Texas city elections are supposedly non-partisan by law.  That is not even a question anymore.  They are not non-partisan, thanks to Democrat PAC’s and the DNC.  Case in point, the Little Elm mayoral election.

My wife and I interviewed each candidate, there were 3 running for mayor, to find out who we were going to support.  At that time each candidate said that the election was non-partisan and did not display any interest in displaying their own politics, just wanted us to know that they wanted to serve the city.  Each of them indicated that as city politicians, their primary concern was to ensure that we had adequate policing, a robust fire/EMS department, and that the garbage was picked up on time. 

Our community is in growth mode, and I also pushed them for insight into their vision for the future.  Two of the candidates seemed to be taken aback on that question, and their answers were sketchy at best.  One candidate had a concise vision, one that took into account growth patterns and the need for services to fulfill the needs of our growing community.  This man was currently the President of the Little Elm Economic Development Corporation, and had detailed insight into the specific needs of our growing community, and had a detailed plan to achieve those goals.  He won us both over, and at that point earned our vote.

The campaign was on, and my wife and I were intimately involved in the process.  We called potential supporters, walked many neighborhoods, and motivated others to do the same.  We were a big part of this candidate’s ground game.  We worked hard all the way up to election day.

During the campaign, we went to a local restaurant for lunch, and saw one of the other candidates there.  He was with a group of people, some with signs, and all with tee shirts that said “Denton Together” and “Fuel 50”.  We came back to say hello to the candidate, and was introduced to a man, apparently the leader of that group, that was obviously a partisan Democrat.  It was evident that the race had gone partisan.  At that meeting the candidate, who is black, also intimated that the race was contentious because of racial divisions in the city.  We did not see that, and we told him so, but he was adamant on that point.

When home, we looked up Denton Together’s website, and found out it is a PAC, raising money through ACTBLUE, which is the largest Democrat PAC in the country.  We also discovered that this PAC was set-up to turn Texas blue, by starting from the bottom, winning city elections first, then county, and ultimately taking candidates to the state level to turn Texas blue.  Texas has 38 electoral votes, and if they go blue, so does the whole country in Presidential elections, turning our country into a perpetual one-party state.  With This realization we were energized, and so were those we were campaigning with to go the extra mile for our chosen candidate.  As conservatives, we were going to do everything possible to make sure that our city, and Texas itself stays on the right side of politics.

The general election resulted in a runoff.  None of the 3 candidates garnered over 50% of the vote, and a new election was called, and our candidate, along with the candidate supported by Denton Together, were now running against each other.  Denton Together brought in people from out of town to walk all neighborhoods, and signs, mailers, and an electronic billboard were part of their effort.  Still, it looked like a real horse race, with both candidates tracking close to each other.

On May 4th, the opposition kicked Denton Together to the curb, and brought in a paid Democrat operative to manage the remainder of their campaign.  This man was the organizer on the ground for Pete Buttigieg’s primary campaign in both Iowa and Texas, and was part of the campaign for Raphael Warnock in Georgia.  He also is currently a leader for the DNC to turn Texas blue.  He was brought in because it appeared that our candidate had a very good chance to win.

This Democrat operative pulled out the stops, and played the race card hard.  Soon after he came to the opposition’s campaign, a mysterious video showed up on-line for only about 5 minutes.  Hardly a person saw it, but after it was taken down and eliminated from U-tube, it was presented by the opposition campaign as a racist rant from our candidate.  A screen shot of the introduction was widely distributed, with their carefully concocted racist narrative boldly attached to it.  Now the fire of racism was not only lit, but gasoline was poured onto the fire.  This incited black voters that would normally stay home to go to the polls, and it worked.  On June 5th, there was a flood of minority voters going to the polls, and subsequently the opposition candidate did win by a slim margin of about 280 votes.  Was this tactic cynical?  Yes.  Was it effective?  Absolutely! 

This story of the mayoral election in Little Elm is a minor part of a bigger play.  It shows that Democrats, in their quest for power, will do absolutely anything, however despicable to win.  We see that on the national stage, with this party threatening to pack the Supreme Court with Progressive Judges so that rulings will always go in their favor.  We see them preparing to eliminate the filibuster to make it impossible for the minority party to stop their toxic bills from becoming law.  They even are trying to pass a law to take elections away from the states, to ensure that every way possible to cheat will be in their parties control forevermore. 

As conservatives we need an awakening.  We have to realize that the opposing party has taken the gloves off, and is fighting us with their bare knuckles.  We can no longer play by the established rules, but instead our gloves have to come off too, and then we have to fight on a level playing field.  If we do not, they will surely win, and our country will be changed forever, and not for the better!

SCOTUS SINKS TRUMPS BIRTHRIGHT CITIZENSHIP ORDER

On June 30th, the Supreme Court ruled against the President’s Executive Order number 14160 that would have ended abuse of birthright citizenship.  Chief Justice Roberts wrote the opinion in favor of ending it, voting along with Justices Amy Comey, Brett Kavanaugh and all the Democrats on this bench.  Kavanaugh voted with the majority because he didn’t believe that the President had the power to make the order in the first place, although he agreed with the content. In dissent were Justices Thomas, Gorsuch, and Alito.  Their argument was in a nutshell that the 14th amendment focusing on birthright citizenship had been corrupted over the years to what it is today.  They interpret that as “The 14th Amendment doesn’t say that all persons born in the U.S. are citizens. It says that “Persons born or naturalized in the United States and subject to the jurisdiction thereof” are citizens. That second, critical, conditional phrase is conveniently ignored or misinterpreted by advocates of “birthright” citizenship. They made the case that this means people born here under our political influence, and not under any outside influence are eligible for citizenship.”

Although people come from all over the world for birthing tourism, most are from China.  I could not find out if the CCP is funding this tourism, but I have a theory.  Over 2,000,000 million babies’ mothers have taken the trip to birth in the USA, just to immediately return to the CCP.  By 2028, it is estimated that between 500,000 and 1,000,000 of these babies will be over the age of 18, and eligible to vote in our elections.  These people for the most part have never stepped foot in our country after their birth, and now are dual citizens of the USA and Communist China.  That’s a conflict of interest if ever there was one! 

If nothing changes, this could put the CCP in the drivers’ seat to push for fundamental change in our country.  They could back Democratic Socialists (Communists) in our country to win important House and Senate seats, and even hand a Democratic Socialist the Presidency! 

“If you are a U.S. citizen, dual-national, or will be 18 by Election Day, you have the right to vote abroad in US elections! Vote From Abroadprovides all the information, forms, and support help in one place to make voting easy! Please note that there is no in-person voting, all voters in China must register and submit an overseas absentee ballot.”  This is a quote from the “DEMOCRATS ABROAD” website.  So you can see that Democrats are actually counting on this overseas vote! 

Now is the time for Congress to get off their buts and get something done.  Congress has the power to interpret and codify what the 14th Amendment meant with birthright citizenship.  They can get this done with just a majority vote in the House, and in the Senate, most likely they would have to eliminate the filibuster to get it through by a simple majority, but its possible, and we do not need the Chinese Communist Party deciding our elections!

The House already has this bill in the Judiciary Committee, and it has been there for 18 months.  It is HR569 and it would effectively redefine birthright citizenship to align with original intent.  There is another bill in the Senate, S.304, that essentially does the same thing, but it also has been in the Senate Judiciary Committee for 18 months.  Either of these bills would solve the immediate problem, but of course Congress would have to act, and so far, there has been little interest.  We need to call our representatives and Senators in order to light a fire under them!  If we push them to act, it’s guaranteed that the President will sign it into law!  This method would be a more permanent pathway as opposed to an Executive Order that can be rescinded by a future President.

FRACTURED AMERICA

My wife and I were recently binging interviews featuring Jordan Peterson, and one moment stood out. When asked about the function of the political left versus the right, he responded with a simple but profound observation: neither side can exist meaningfully without the other. Each serves as a necessary counterbalance, ensuring that decisions are tested, refined, and ideally improved through opposition.

At first glance, that idea feels obvious. A functioning political system depends on tension between competing viewpoints. Without disagreement, there is no deliberation; without deliberation, no real progress. The “middle ground” so often referenced in politics is not a starting point—it is something forged through the friction of opposing ideas. In theory, that friction produces better outcomes, as each side is forced to confront its own blind spots.

But theory and reality are increasingly far apart.

Politics today bears little resemblance to the measured, deliberative process it was meant to be. Instead, it often resembles a zero-sum contest—more akin to a cage fight than a conversation—where victory is defined not by solving problems, but by defeating the opponent. Compromise is framed as weakness. Cooperation is treated as betrayal. And in that environment, the incentive structure shifts: the loudest, most uncompromising voices rise to prominence, while moderates retreat into silence or irrelevance.

This dynamic has created a system where the ideological edges of both parties exert disproportionate influence. On the Democratic side, some elected officials face intense pressure from progressive activists pushing policies such as significant reductions—or outright dismantling—of agencies like U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement. On the Republican side, hardline factions push for maximalist approaches to immigration enforcement and rapid policy shifts with little room for incremental compromise. In both cases, the result is the same: elected leaders become more responsive to their most energized supporters than to the broader electorate.

The consequence is paralysis.

The poet Rudyard Kipling once described a world of “islands shouting lies to each other across seas of misunderstanding.” That imagery feels strikingly relevant today. Political discourse has become less about persuasion and more about performance—less about understanding and more about signaling allegiance. Each side increasingly views the other not as a rival with different priorities, but as an existential threat.

Nowhere is this more evident than in debates over immigration. One side frames enforcement as a matter of sovereignty and rule of law; the other emphasizes humanitarian concerns and systemic reform. These are not inherently irreconcilable positions. A functional system could, in theory, integrate border security with compassionate, structured pathways for legal immigration. Yet instead of pursuing synthesis, both sides often default to suspicion—questioning not just each other’s policies, but each other’s motives.

This breakdown of trust is perhaps the most dangerous fracture of all.

Leaders like John Thune and Chuck Schumer operate within this polarized environment, where making a deal can carry as much political risk as refusing one. The space for good-faith negotiation narrows when any compromise risks backlash from within one’s own coalition. As a result, stalemates become more common, and governance itself begins to stall.

Groups such as “the Squad” and the House Freedom Caucus illustrate this broader trend. While they represent only segments of their respective parties, their visibility and influence can shape the national conversation in outsized ways. They are not the sole cause of division, but they are symptomatic of a system that increasingly rewards ideological purity over practical problem-solving.

So where does that leave us?

If Peterson’s premise is correct—that left and right are interdependent—then the current trajectory is unsustainable. A system in which each side seeks to delegitimize or overpower the other is not a balanced system; it is a brittle one. And brittle systems eventually break.

The path forward is not the elimination of disagreement, but the restoration of its purpose. Disagreement should clarify, not calcify. It should refine ideas, not radicalize them. That requires a shift not only from political leaders, but from voters themselves—away from rewarding outrage and toward valuing results.

Because in the end, the “fracture” in America is not just between left and right. It is between two competing visions of what politics is supposed to be: a battlefield to be won, or a process to be worked through.

Until that question is answered, the divide will remain—and may continue to widen.

Curtis Sliwa: Dark Horse or Real Contender?

The New York City mayoral race is shaping up to be one of the most fascinating contests in recent memory. According to the latest polls, Zohran Momdani leads with 43.3% of likely voters supporting him, followed by Andrew Cuomo at 28.9%, and Curtis Sliwa trailing at 19.4%. 

The Frontrunners

Zohran Momdani, a self-described socialist, is running on a platform that includes free bus rides, free daycare, and city-owned grocery stores to reduce prices by cutting out middlemen. He also advocates replacing portions of the NYPD with social workers and assigning dispatchers to decide when to send police or social workers on 911 calls. Additionally, he wants to expand the “no cash bail” program, freeze rent increases, and build more city-owned apartments—all funded by sharply increasing taxes on businesses and wealthy New Yorkers.

Critics warn that Momdani’s proposals would devastate the city’s finances. Businesses and high-income residents could leave in droves, eroding the tax base and causing economic decline. His policies, many argue, would drive up crime and push New York City into fiscal chaos.

Andrew Cuomo, meanwhile, is no stranger to controversy. The former governor of New York resigned amid multiple sexual harassment allegations and a scandal over the handling of COVID-19 patients in nursing homes—an action linked to thousands of elderly deaths. His tenure as governor was marked by sweeping shutdowns that crippled many small businesses. For many voters, Cuomo’s record raises serious doubts about his fitness to lead the city.

Both Momdani and Cuomo carry significant baggage. If either wins, critics fear it could spell disaster for what was once the greatest city in the world.

Enter Curtis Sliwa: The Dark Horse

That leaves Curtis Sliwa, founder of the Guardian Angels, as the clear outsider—and perhaps the only viable alternative. Although a Republican in a heavily Democratic city, Sliwa should not be dismissed. New York has elected Republican mayors before—figures who cleaned up the city and restored prosperity. History shows that political affiliation alone doesn’t determine victory when public safety and quality of life are at stake.

Sliwa’s Platform

Sliwa’s policies focus heavily on law and order, accountability, and economic revival. Among his key proposals:

  1. Hire 7,000 additional police officers to reduce crime across the five boroughs.
  2. Repeal Section 50-a, restoring protections for officers.
  3. Detain violent repeat offender teens rather than returning them to the streets.
  4. End parole for cop killers.
  5. Eliminate no-cash bail for repeat offenders.
  6. Restore sensible discovery laws to help district attorneys prosecute cases effectively.
  7. Expand the Guardian Angels’ role in community safety.
  8. Leverage endorsements, including from Andrew Giuliani—son of “America’s Mayor,” Rudy Giuliani.

A Hidden Advantage: The Jewish Vote

Sliwa also enjoys strong ties with New York’s Jewish community. His Guardian Angels regularly patrol Jewish neighborhoods, building trust and goodwill. With over 700,000 registered Jewish voters in the city—and average mayoral election turnouts around 1.3 million—that bloc could be decisive. Sliwa is pro-Israel, unlike Momdoni, and his Angels are also part of his campaign team.  He already has over 250,000 voters committed to him, and if he can get at least ½ of the Jewish voters to come to him, he has a big chance to win!

Momdani’s perceived hostility toward Israel and past anti-Semitic remarks have alienated many Jewish voters, while Cuomo’s scandals continue to tarnish his credibility. This gives Sliwa a potential opening that few are acknowledging.

The Bottom Line

Curtis Sliwa may be the underdog in this race, but history has shown that underdogs can surprise everyone. With New York at a crossroads—struggling with crime, affordability, and political polarization—Sliwa’s tough, pragmatic vision could resonate with voters desperate for stability and safety.

The real question isn’t whether he’s a dark horse. It’s whether New Yorkers are ready to give him the chance to prove he’s the real contender.

ANOTHER GREAT AWAKENING IN AMERICA?

There have been 2 “Great Awakenings” recorded in American History.  These events were initiated by men that saw a need.  They rallied, and others followed in mass!

The first “Great Awakening” was initiated by Jonathan Edwards and George Whitfield, two ministers that saw a need to reacquaint New England with their Christian foundations.  At the time, from about 1740 to 1745, the total population of New England was 300,000 souls.  Through their evangelistic efforts, they added 50,000 to churches in their area.  At the time, this was considered a great success!

The second “Great Awakening” happened around 1790-1845.  It was lead by many, most notally Pastor Charles Finney.  These were the Wild West days, where Christianity was in crisis.  Many people were abandoning their faith and simply trying to survive in the wilderness of the west.  Itinerate preachers went out, set up tents with sawdust for floors, and preached the message of the Lord.  This resulted in many tens of thousands of settlers coming to the Lord, with most communities establishing churches for the faithful.

This leads us to our present situation.  67% of our population now identifies as Christian.  That is down from almost 80% in the 1960’s.  There are many cultural reasons for the decline, including new generations becoming less and less interested in embracing the faith of their parents, driven by media, education pushing Marxist ideology, and the thought that Utopia can actually be had on earth.  In coming years if nothing is done, Christians quite likely will be a minority in our country.

As in previous centuries, it takes a leader to reverse the tide.  Charlie Kirk and his followers appear to be that catalyst!  TPUSA has been on many high school and college campuses, but since Charlies untimely death their has been a surge of new membership requests.  There are currently 3,500 Turning Point chapters operating as of today.  Charlie’s dream was to eventually have 20,000 chapters.  Right now there are applications in for 120,000 more chapters, and there are over 350,000 inquiries from students on how to join a chapter.  Its looking like the beginning of a new “Great Awakening” starting in High Schools and Colleges throughout our country, and its projected that every High School nationwide will eventually have a chapter.  As previously stated, the decline in Christian popularity can be firmly placed on the new generation but we seem to have started on another path!

TPUSA integrates our Constitution with Christian principles.  In fact, the founding fathers were deeply religious and when forming our Constitution, those principles were in their minds as they put the Constitution together.  That has been lost on many, and our country was founded as a Constitutional Republic, not a Democracy.  This was done to protect the individual, and to eliminate the possibility of mob rule.  Many still refer to our government as a Democracy, even though it is not.  In fact, founding fathers were deeply afraid of Democracy, and the Constitution does not mention Democracy anywhere in its body!  TPUSA ensures that their membership understands this, and also understands that our basic rights are God given, and not given by any government body. 

We will see where this movement goes, but it does not appear to be losing steam anytime soon!  Right now not only is Turning Point growing exponentially, but Jesus tent Revivals are springing up all over the country!  Yes America, it’s not too late to save our country!

ELON, HEAD OF DOGE, SCOURGE TO DEMOCRATS

Department of Government Efficiency?  Sounds like an oxymoron, right?  Well, its not, and Elon is running with it!  He has found billions of misspent dollars in USAID, and is in the process of shutting it down and moving the real work over to the State Department.

This is quite a list, and assuredly is not a complete one.  None of these payments had anything to do with their stated objective, and making matters worse, DOGE was initially blocked from getting into USAID files.  Since then there have been a number of lawsuits aimed at attempting to save USAID from its eventual demise, and the Democrats are going crazy about it.  DOGE also found out that spending doubled from $20 billion in 2017 to $42 billion in 2023. 

Why are the Democrats so adamant about saving USAID?  Their fingerprints are all over this rogue agency.  So are those of the CIA, FBI, NSA, and other alphabet agencies.  Millions hae also gone to Gaza, and most likely all that aid went to Hamas. There is also mention that USAID money was used to thwart DJT’s first Administration. Why, because USAID had become a slush fund for nefarious operations that would never have been approved by Congress or the Executive Branch.  In every way, this has been a outlaw agency accountable to no one.  That’s why there is so much push back resisting the audit!

Now 19 blue state Attorney Generals are suing the Trump administration to attempt to keep DOGE away from the USAID, and to stop the effort to put employees of this agency from being put on paid leave.  They will fail, but they will also delay.

The Democrats are planning to delay and possibly stop DOGE from going into other agencies.  They are very worried that DOGE will be successful and also expose what they have been doing for decades.  Expect more lawsuits and fake news to be around until this process is finally over!  They are melting down and claiming that DOGE is illegal and unconstitutional.  They are painting Elon Musk and DOGE as a horrible breach of justice.  None of that is true, as the Executive branch is in charge of ensuring that Federal monies are not fraudulently spent, but this is the hill they have chosen to die on.

TIME FOR CHANGE!

No, not calling for Civil War!  That is last on the list of ways to make change.  We need to end division in the Republican Party.  Grassroots and Establishment need to find a way to mend fences.  Then we need to come together and ensure that we all vote in November for the best candidates, and that includes Donald Trump! 

To get out the vote we need to ensure that all eligible Republican and Independent voters are legally registered.  We also need to have volunteer poll watchers at every poll nationwide this November.  The opposition will still attempt to cheat, and we must stop them from doing that!

Ben Franklin famously said “A Republic, if you can keep it”.  We are at that moment now.  Without unity, we will most certainly lose it!  We need to make the next election our path to victory.  Every Republican candidate must win decisively to ensure that cheating does not become our tipping point.  After that, we need to put our house in order.  Deficit spending and printing money needs to end.  We have to shrink and repopulate necessary bureaucracies, and we need to retire those that are not needed. We also have to take the power to legislate away from the bureaucracies and put it back in the hands of the Legislature.  In short, we must shrink the Federal Government, and give rightful power back to the states. 

Illegal aliens must go.  They broke our laws, and should never been allowed in.  We need to clean up so called “entitlements”, making sure that what’s left is actually needed, and retiring those that are not necessary.  And most of all, we need to give our energy companies the latitude they need to not only make us energy independent once again, but to also assist our allies in meeting their energy needs for the future.  The EU historically has been too dependent on Russia for natural gas, and now that supply is cut off.  We need to step up and assist them! 

The work does not stop with one election.  That is just a starting point.  We need to de-weaponize our DOJ, and our alphabet agencies.  We cannot be free when they are working against our better interests.  The Constitution must be embraced by all as the law of the land.  We need to rejuvenate our image to the world.  We have to “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN”.   We can still be that “Shining City on a Hill” as Ronald Reagan succinctly put it!  It will take time, and hard work, but we can still have our Republic.  That is our goal as lovers of Liberty!

We do this, and then we give all Americans a clear definition of purpose, something that has been lacking for many over the decades.  Our schools will need to educate all in our Constitution, Civics, and American History.  This part of education has been ignored for far too long.  Our people need to know of American Exceptionalism, and that message must go out from generation to generation.  It took a long tome for us to get to where we are today, and it will take years for us to get us back to a Constitutional Republic, but we can, and we will!

WHY IS WESTERN CIVILIZATION IN A SELF-DESTRUCT MODE?

We all should be worried.  Everything that our society has held dear is now in jeopardy.  The fundamentals that have brought the USA and Western Civilization to unprecedented wealth and influence is rapidly waning.  Instead of finding improvements on this model, people in power are finding ways to destroy it.

Climate change is one of the biggest drivers.  This narrative preaches that if we do not eliminate CO2 from our planet, all life will be destroyed.  To accomplish this goal, all carbon-based products, including energy sources must be eliminated.    We are now telling 3rd world countries that they must help us save the world by only using green energy.  Problem is that to date the only energy source that is inexpensive and dependable is carbon based.  In effect, we are telling these countries that they cannot modernize.  We are also on a path to degrade our own economy and limit our freedom of movement by embracing the Climate Change narrative.  We are told we must go to electric vehicles to eliminate Climate Change.  Problem is, electric vehicles do not have the range needed, and use too much electricity when charging, which would take place at night, when solar and wind power is basically non-existent.  To add to the problem, we do not have an electrical grid that could handle all cars and trucks using electricity, and there seems to be no plans to replace grids

We now are embracing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion(DEI) as the wave of the future.  No longer are people promoted by their own efforts, but by the color of their skin.  Even corporations are embracing this thought, and are now being rated by their own Environmental and Social Governance scoring (ESG).  In effect, these businesses are compelled to embrace the climate change narrative and DEI in how they maintain their organizations to keep their standing with large capital investment blocks like Vanguard and Black Rock.  These non-financial factors do not increase profits for investors, but rather hampers these organizations from their primary duty, to create income and value for stockholders. 

We are not allowing energy companies to explore for oil and gas.  Even though “Green Energy” is not a real solution, we are ignoring what is.  We have some of the largest reserves of oil and gas in the world, yet we now are dependent on countries that do not like us for this life giving fuel source. 

Our southern border is wide open, and we have let at least 8-10 million illegal aliens have crossed this border without consequence.  In fact, they have been invited in by the Biden Administration.  The EU also effectively has open borders, and those countries for the most part are being invaded every day with immigrants from Northern Africa and the Middle East.  All of this is causing a very potent demographic twist to the population of Western Countries, and not a shift that bodes well for the future. 

BLM and ANTIFA have taken their toll in our larger cities.  Rioting, looting, burning, and at times killing, destroying these cities inner cores. These organized rioters for the most part go unpunished.   All the while these same cities have defunded their police forces. 

The FBI, CIA, IRS, and other alphabet agencies weaponized by the left, now going after Conservatives for not complying with the left’s preferred narratives.  January 6th protestors still languishing in jail for years without trial, and those that have gone to court given lengthy prison sentences.  Our DOJ calling them insurgents because they protested what was obviously an unfair and rigged Presidential election. 

Unsustainable Federal deficit spending, and no end in sight!  We are now at 33+trillion dollars in debt, and the Biden Administration wants a budget that would embrace future deficit spending at the same unsustainable rate.  This will not end well.  If we stay on this path, we will bankrupt the country and put us into a depression.  Right now the dollar is the benchmark for international transactions, but once bankrupt it will be unseated bringing even more economic calamity not only on us but on the rest of the world. 

In short, we are seeing social and economic chaos throughout the world.  Most of this chaos is pointed at Western Democracies, especially the USA.  I do not see any of this as incidental.  This has the appearance of a well thought out plan by the left to bring Western Civilization to its knees.  WEF, the UN, and other international agencies are not hiding that they want to destroy nationhood, and bring the world together in Socialist Utopia.  They cannot get their dream if Western nations are left intact.  Problem is that Socialism does not work, and there will never be Utopia for any of us while we are alive on earth. 

Western Society, especially here in the USA is rooted in a vision of the world.  A big part of that vision is openness, but that same openness is not the same as moral agnosticism.  We have as a society a moral center, and that needs to be embraced!

In order to defend ourselves, we need to be loud and clear about our beliefs.  There should be no mistaking the fundamental values that we hold dear, those values that our Constitution embraces.  We must vote for those that also hold our Constitution dear.  Not only vote, but campaign, poll watch, and donate to their campaigns.  If we do not take an active role, those elitists that are bent on destroying our civilization will win, and we cannot let that happen.  We need to step up so that future generations can enjoy the same freedoms and access to opportunity that we were blessed with!  Evil will not give up without a fight, and neither should we.  We can win this, but we must fight!

THE AMERICA I ONCE KNEW….

When I was growing up my friends and I were in the Cub Scouts, and then the Boy Scouts.  Every Memorial Day we marched in our small town’s parade.  There were thousands in the parade, darn near ½ the town, with the other half lined up along the roads to watch.  The American Legion, VFW, Army and Navy Reservists, Police and Fire Departments, the High School Band and many other organizations were in the parade, along with our local politicians, religious leaders and their families.  Everyone was proud to be American, and all knew we were the greatest country on earth!

After High School I joined the Naval Reserve, and was on active duty from 1970 to 1975.  Interesting to note that back then religion was very important, and now it is not. When I got out, I attended Naval Reserve meetings 1 weekend per month, and went on 2 weeks active duty every year.  We also marched in the Cincinnati Memorial Day Parade with other reservists.  The Marines, ourselves, Army, and Air Force reservists were in these parades in our dress uniforms, along with High School bands and just about every social organization in the city.  Many people, thousands upon thousands would line the streets of downtown Cincinnati to watch the parade.  It was a great show of Americanism, and we all were proud to be a part of it!

Small towns outside of Cincinnati still do these parades, but Cincinnati no longer does.  Few big cities do anymore.  Except for small towns and cities in our country, the Memorial Day Parade is a thing of the past, a dinosaur in a fast-changing America.  In the bigger cities, and some small ones too, pride of country does not seem to exist anymore.  What happened?

80% of younger Americans are not physically or mentally fit to serve in the armed forces today.  Critical Race Theory is now part of the mission in our armed forces, and many that can join no longer will as the military goes woke.  Our schools have been teaching students that America is nothing to be proud of, and that we stole our land, killed many to take it, and have been fighting colonial wars all over the planet throughout our history.  All largely a lie, but a narrative to fundamentally change us by education our young people in this manner.

We now have a 2-tiered justice system, where Conservatives are treated differently from Progressives.  We have a weaponized DOJ, CIA, FBI and all the other alphabet soup agencies in our Federal Government.  Socialism is now being presented as a better alternative to Capitalism (Even though it has failed everywhere it has been tried), and our Constitution is being trashed.  Almost 50% of Gen-Z young adults think Socialism is good, free speech is not a good thing, and that the second amendment of the Constitution should be overturned.  Further, Progressives want the Constitution to be a “living document” that they can change at will.  We are now in a world of hurt, and the America I grew up in no longer exists. 

It will be a long struggle to get sanity back into our country.  We need to take back government, get rid of unneeded agencies, rebuild ones that are needed but have gone rogue.  We also must get rid of RINO’s and Progressives in our elected offices, and elect people who have the desire to bring back what we have lost.  This will not be done overnight, but 2024 is a bellwether year that can bring some positive change to our failing system.  Take voting seriously and research all candidates on your ballot.  Only vote for those that respect our country and its values, and will uphold the Constitution as written.  We can get positive change started, and then we must hold our representatives to the promises that they will have given us. Or we can just sit back and let the Progressives and RINO’s win.  It’s your choice!

HOW TO DESTROY A DEMOCRATIC SOCIETY

The Liberal Progressive playbook has been applied time and again to destroy societies across
the world. The pattern is nearly the same in every instance.

  1. Promote discontent in the economically disadvantaged classes
  2. Expand the numbers of disadvantaged within the society by redefining “the
    disadvantaged” or importing large numbers of disadvantaged individuals
  3. Expand the role of government from governance to provision of “equality”
  4. Provide “free” services to both the deserving and the undeserving to buy votes and at the
    same time destroy the economic viability of the society
  5. Falsely promise “true equality” to encourage the sacrifice of personal freedom and the
    enhancement of the power of government
  6. Gain control of the education system and propagandize younger generations
  7. Use mass media (willingly or through force) to promote their propaganda
  8. Attack the underpinnings of the free society – law and order, freedom of speech,
    economic freedom, religious freedom, the right to bear arms
  9. Disarm the populace
  10. Rescind constitutional rights or declare martial law, giving an elite few total control of the
    society
  11. Eradicate all dissidents
  12. Enslave the entire population for the benefit of a few

    2004 Private healthcare is completely socialized and is free
    2007 All higher education becomes “free”
    2009 Socialists banned private ownership of guns

    2014 Opposition leaders are imprisoned

    The Liberal Progressives have been working for well over 50 years to transform the United
    States. They are no longer working in the dark, they are openly declaring their intentions to rob
    you and future generations of your freedom. Their recent actions demonstrate clearly that they
    feel the United States is ready for transition. Their willingness to challenge law and order, use
    our intelligence agencies to spy on private citizens,, attempt to illegally impeach a duly elected
    president and to openly encourage the mass migration of millions of illegal aliens are all bold
    signs of their intentions.

SOCIALISM, A FAILED SYSTEM THAT REFUSES TO DIE

I am going to focus on Great Britian and America in this essay.  There are parallels that we as Americans need to consider historically. Why?  It is because if history is not understood and heeded, the same mistakes that took down the British Empire is likely to give us the same result.

Great Britain’s roadmap to Socialism started with the Fabian Society.  This group was formed at the London school of Economics in January 1884. This group consisted of economists, and well-known poets and authors including George Bernard Shaw.  Most of these men were personally tutored by Karl Marx in London before his death in 1883, and were convinced that the best way for society to evolve would be through Socialism.

They formulated their platform through essays.  Those documents were called the Fabian essays.  They highlighted their thoughts about the evils of Capitalism and the overriding benefits of Socialism.  They believed that Socialism provided for economic and social justice, whereas they did not believe that Capitalism did so.  In their minds Capitalism put to many riches into too few hands, with the vast majority of the public suffering for the greed of the owners of capital. The end game was to not only change Great Britain’s economy to Socialism, but to eventually put together an international order where the entire world would have equitable social and economic outcomes. Does any of this start to sound familiar to you?

Their “coat of arms” was a wolf in sheep’s clothing, but that was later dropped due to unpopular connotations.  They believed that a strategy of incrementalism was in order, so that slowly but surely over decades, the system could be changed without causing any social unrest.  They formed the Labor Party, and embarked on a patient journey for gradual and permanent change.  They wanted free health and dental care, and they got that.  They wanted the government to own major corporations, and they got that.  They wanted the government to take over rental properties, including single family homes, and they got that.  They also got millions more government employees running these efforts, and ruined what otherwise would have been a vibrant post WW2 economy.  What they got instead was economic and social malaise, and eventually Margaret Thatcher, who embarked on an effort to change all the damage that these Socialists had done.  Starting to look more like something we are going through right now? 

Yes, we are incrementally going the same way Great Britain did.  We are seeing some of the same mistakes.  Socialism is a losing proposition, but one that captures the imagination of those that are not students of history.    If one does not embrace history, they are doomed to repeat the misfortunes that others have in the past. 

2024 is key to rescuing ourselves from the malaise of Socialism.  We need a drastic change in political leadership, and also need to eliminate politicians that are pressing for social and economic change that would destroy our country.  Vote for your lifestyle, vote for your pocketbook, vote for your family, vote for God and Country, and vote for those that will embrace the Constitution and free markets.  We must, otherwise we may be seeing the end of this great experiment.  If we lose, we will have to fight twice as hard to get back what we have lost!  Get out and vote people, and vote wisely!
